Amateur home movie shot on 9.5mm film, homefront at start of or just prior to World War Two, around 1938 or 1939 Air blimp or barrage balloon floating erratically in the sky, perhaps come loose from its moorings. Army Officer standing beside car putting gloves on before walking towards camera. Scene on Golf Course , Two men shown striking the golf ball. Second man is now wearing a gas mask and is shown about to strike ball. British phlegm and pluck. Keep Calm and Carry On Back to first man hitting the ball. Barrage balloon seen flying erratically in sky, not sure if it is damaged. Man pushing bicycle along tree lined road. NB the trees have three white lines painted towards base of trunks. This was a wartime safety procedure to prevent drivers and pedestrians from hitting or walking into them.
