Kenya safari- Lions mating

Lion is the second-largest living cat after the tiger. And one of the most sought after animals on a Kenya safari. When it's time to make cubs, the dominant male and a female in heat leave the pride for a few days and devote themselves to mating. They will mate every 15-30 minutes for several days. While some animals might need privacy, lions don't care who is looking on and will go about their business. Commonly known by the local guides as 'harusi', which means wedding in Swahili actually refers to 'honeymoon' in the context of a couple separating and enjoying a silent time together for several days.
