In 1956, ZOA, Zionist Organization of America, established Kfar Silver, Israel's premier youth village for junior and high school students, specializing in agriculture and animal husbandry, enterpreneurship, 900+ students, near Ashkelon. Dorms house 200+ students, tasty cafeteria, modern classrooms and athletic facilities, dairy and goat herds, high-tech green houses, farm fields, advanced curriculum, winning international honors in sports competitions, full swimming pool.
