Khumbu, the three high passes

Our stunning escapade into the Mt Everest region going over the high Khumbu mountain passes of Renjo La, Cho la. We went through the remote Bhote Koshi valley following the contours of river Khoshi, sampling great hospitality along the Sherpa villages. Crossed our first 5000 mt high mountain pass at Renjo la with unparalleled views of the mighty Himalayan mountains including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu and the shimmering Gokyo Lakes. Getting to the other side of Cho la pass, a few days later was equally hard and brought us to the khmubu valley where Ama Dablam and Cholatse dominated most of the views.
