Opening event for "Endangered Species, Enduring Values: An Anthology of San Francisco Area Writers and Artists of Color," edited by Shizue Seigel. This book provides a compelling snapshot of the 58% of people of color in the nation’s most diverse and progressive metropolis. The book includes prose, poetry and four color artwork from established to emerging writers ages 14 - 80, from immigrant to indigenous people. The writers have roots in Native America, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
