Kings of Leon Cancels U.S. Tour

Update on Kings of Leon. They've just announced they're canceling the remainder of their North American tour. A rep for the guys said in a statement, "We are so sorry to say ... [cancellation is] due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion. The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break." This comes just hours after news broke about Caleb walking off the stage during their show in Dallas, which then prompted the band to cancel their show in Houston on Saturday night. And KOL is definitely not making any new friends with this announcement because those who purchased tickets for any of the upcoming shows won't be able to attend rescheduled performances because of the band's international tour schedule. But their purchases via online or phone will be automatically refunded. The statement continued, "The band will resume touring in Canada at the Rogers Center in Vancouver, B.C., on September 28. That show was originally scheduled for September 14th." Jared wrote on his Twitter today, Utterly depressed. It's completely out of my hands. Family has to come 1st. If bass solos & backing vocals were more popular, I'd be there. He added, Thanks to all my friends, family, & fans. I'm not going to stop working. I'm going to spend time writing songs and looking to the future. So sad, and we hope whatever's really going on with Caleb is sorted out. But here's where you guys come in with your comments.
