Kirk Windstein Discusses his Musical Career with Down, Crowbar & Kingdom of Sorrow!

In the past year we've had the privilege of interviewing Kirk Windstein (Down, Crowbar, and Kingdom of Sorrow) three different times, and he is always a real cool guy to talk to. He is honest, humble, and is always in a good mood because he appreciates the support from the fans of all the bands that he is part of. Not only is Kirk part of three bands that have influenced thousands of musicians all over the world, but he is also an ambassador of the NOLA Heavy Music scene. Oh, and he also happens to write some of the best riffs in Heavy Music today! Recently, Kirk performed a killer set with Kingdom Of Sorrow in Hartford, Connecticut at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. It was real cool to finally see Jamey Jasta and Kirk Windstein together on stage, which is a rarity since both men are in various bands and have very hectic schedules. Before the band took center stage at the Jägermeister stage, we had the chance to chat with Kirk about his musical career with Down, Crowbar, and Kingdom Of Sorrow.
