I headed out Chuckwalla Valley Raceway for round 7 of the CVMA series. CVMA hosts the most competitive lightweight championship on the West Coast. During the previous round I ran the KTM with stock front suspension and stock rear sets. I had qualified 27th out of 34 riders and finished 21st with a best lap of 2:13.1. My goal for the final round of the season was to drop my lap times below the 2:10's and try and finish in the top 10. Let's just say I made huge gains thanks to the bike updates and left with a personal record lap time of 2:07.6 and had an epic battle along the way!
