Lake Malawi National Park

Lake Malawi National Park Nearly half of the 1000 species living in the lake of Malawi in the national park covered by 12 islands. Most of these fish are species here. The lake is located in the large valley formed by the Great Rift Valley, which crosses the country. Other than fish, the mammal species in the park are also quite abundant: hippopotamus, baboon, vervet monkey and elephant are the first ones to come to mind. The islands of Mumbo and Boadzulu are one of the nesting areas of the white-throated cormorant. The island of Boadzulu is home to alligators and other reptiles.
