Landscape Photography | A Mono kind of Day, Yorkshire Dales

The weather forecast was looking as near perfect as possible for the images I was after. My chosen sleepy spot was only 10 minutes away from the location so I almost had a lie-in ? Andy drove up to meet me & we set off with high hopes for the mornings shoot .. weather ✔️ Location ✔️ good company ✔️ lone trees ✔️ Limestone pavement ✔️ -what could possibly go wrong ? An area that on google maps seemed to offer so many possibilities literally stumped us ! Maybe we needed more mist /fog /snow ?Lone trees aplenty but could I find a composition ? Could I hell as like ! I belive the area is called Southerscales , to one side is Ingleborough , the other side is Twistleton Scar & down the way is Ribblehead Viaduct . Hey ho , undeterred but slightly less enthusiastic we headed onwards & upwards , looking for a specific area which we eventually found just as the weather cleared . Not a wasted trip though, a good reccy for a future visit in more appropriate conditions . Not overly happy with my images but it's a solid base to work on & improve with another visit. The afternoon improved wit a visit to a local wood to see the Red Squirrels...how cute are they ? I could happily have spent an entire day there, watching them rushing around gathering food for the winter , such cute little faces, full of character . Maybe a vlog from there is called for ???
