Back with another SSS Trial! We continue not having Leon, but that's OK for this one: the law introduced is Physical Damage -50%. For this, I used a 5907 power 4-star Renne, 4877 3-star Lana, 4875 4-star Landius, 3357 5-star Sophia and 3350 3-star Bozel. Bozel's job was to put ranged Stuns on the fliers, who would otherwise kill Landius on his charge. Landius's job was to weaken Zerida and stun/distract Narm. Lana exists solely to apply Mdef Down and debuffs for Renne to Eliminate key targets. The last clear took a lot of Clocks to get right, so I decided to use Sophia to eliminate Clock proc luck. Although Clock did activate, it never did at a critical moment: Bozel notably never procced it for his Sleep, which would've made the run a lot easier! Strategy this time: Narm had Whirlwind, which makes the kill RNG reliant on her NOT proccing that. Cherie was dangerous, but Angelina had Alternate which I didn't want to risk her using. Thus, I decided to take on left side first, with Landius existing to delay Narm. The chief RNG moment is Lana's opening black hole: if she tried to apply Mdef Down or Fixed Damage, the run'd be ruined. Usually, she didn't, and Renne can eliminate Dieharte even without faction buff. (I give it to her anyway.) Next up is Angelina, who can't stand against a Wind Blade. If Bozel had been stronger, this would've looked a lot better, but he got the kill anyway. Zerida is easily dealt with in the same way as our friend Dieharte, though Renne really does need her faction buff here. It's also the last turn she has it. Finally, Cherie can kill more than one unit, Narm can only kill one, but it doesn't matter because I can Stun both of them. Like Angelina, Cherie can't handle Wind Blade and goes down to the combined force of Renne and Lana. Narm's easy pickings. Whew! That's the first Rune Stone earnt from Timeless Trials. Here's to hoping next week'll be doable as well!
