Company Presentation The Trendlines Group Annual Investment Event December 26, 2012 Shefayim, Israel LapSpace Medical is developing an inflatable balloon retractor to retract organs such as the intestines. The retractor is deployed through a 1 cm trocar and inflated once inside the abdominal cavity to allow it to gently "catch" and retract the organs to form a stable operating field. This inflatable retractor features adjustable rigidity and a self-retaining clamp, allowing the surgeon to maintain full control of the operation. Once the procedure is completed, the device is deflated and removed through the entry port. Its ability to be held in place for a long period of time without the need for additional surgical personnel allows surgeons improved efficiency and decreases the cost of the surgery.
