Las Vegas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi/The Diamond Foundation LV - "Shop with a Kappa 2018"

As adults, we often reminisce about our favorite family memories as children. Many of those memories contain images of Christmas morning with family and presents. Every kid deserves to have at least one present with his/her name under the tree. The Diamond Foundation strives to make that dream a reality; but we can’t do it alone. We are asking for your assistance and sponsorship to Shop with a Kappa. Sponsoring one child for $100 will allow him/her to participate in the event. The kids receive a $100 gift card, then are paired up with one of our volunteers, and these kids, they get to have a Christmas dream turned into a reality. Our 8th Annual Shop with a Kappa will take place on Saturday, December 14th, 2019, beginning at 11:00 am, at Walmart Supercenter, on the corner of Lake Mead and Rancho Ave (3950 W Lake Mead Blvd, North Las Vegas, NV 89032). Our local program has grown from sponsoring 22 kids in 2012 to 100 kids in 2018, amounting to more than $50,000 that we have given for kids to shop over the last six years. This year we are hoping to continue the tradition and sponsor no less than 100 kids.
