Leger's Log Cabin on the Haute-Aboujagane River N.B. CANADA

Eugene and Geraldine's Log Cabin. A five year poject built entirely with their own hands except for a crane which was used for the erection of the main beams. Eugene bought a 400 acre cedar forest from which he cut and shaped all the logs for this project. There were no blue prints, the plan for the project came from Eugene's knowledge gained from over 35 years of building contract experience. He did it his way. They both held day jobs so all the work on the cabin was accomplished during evenings and on weekends over the five year period. The rock wall was completed in August 2015. The rocks for the wall came from the remains of a 150 year old acadian basement. This was a labor of love and is a priceless work of art. The inside is just as impressive and will be subject of a future video.
