The Last Remnant is a RPG developed and published by Square Enix which takes a different route than traditional RPG gameplay. It still maintains a turn-based combat system that takes place on a battle map seperate from the world map that you explore, but rather than direct control over individual characters you have somewhat indirect control over groups of characters. You can issue group commands that will effect the skills or abilities they use during their combat turn, but you can not tell units to use specific commands. The game also uses a variety of other systems, like Morale and Battle Rank, to effect a variety of parts of the game and combat. Leave a like (or dislike) if you don't mind, it helps me out a lot.
