sad story about gangsta p. he was with seagram when he was shot in 95 in oakland and tried to save his life (they were very close friends) and was mortally wounded himself in the same shooting but survived against all odds. after this he almost exclusively stopped rapping except on guest apperances. he didn't enjoy much commercial success with his solo album and i think he lived all his life in oakland until he was killed in 2012.
