Lions get Treat for World Lion Day - Cincinnati Zoo

Happy World Lion Day! Over a century ago there were 200,000 lions across the world, now we are left with 20,000. Habitat loss, conflict, targeted poaching and more are threatening this majestic animal.The Zoo provides funding to support Rebuilding the Pride, a community-based conservation program that combines tradition and modern technology to restore a healthy lion population.
