Tuning into low earth orbit satellite SO-50 on 436.795 FM January 10 2014. Using a Baofeng UV-5R radio ($40) and and a Nagoya NA-775 (under 10 dollar) antenna. Sat pass was a max of 71 degrees overhead here in Southwestern Ontario. I didn't do the best of job with tuning in the QSO's but hopefully the video came out okay. I find it a blast using multiple different types of cheap electronics to tune in to low earth orbit satellites and tonnes of other electronic communications. Just good fun :) Some call-signs/locations heard (mistakes possible here): K8DHH- EN82- Michigan ---- Handy Talkie VERY clear KD2EXR- FN12- New York KE5GFJ- Texas NRQT- Minneapolis KD8BIN- Ohio KE3LB- Pennsylvania N9AMW- EN52- Wisconsin KD8BIN- EN81 - Ohio K8YSE- EN91- Ohio N5DY- EM16- Oklahoma My Website & Forum: http://mkme.org My Store: http://www.mkme.org/index.php/store/ Get Social! https://plus.google.com/+EricWilliam http://twitter.com/MKmeOrg http://www.facebook.com/EricWilliam13 Cheers!
