Fourteen-year-old Clayton Ailshie, of Knoxville, has been selected as the East Tennessee delegate at this summer’s JDRF Children’s Congress. Clayton will visit D.C. in early July along with over 150 other children aged 4-17 who live with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The delegates will meet with local and national representatives to raise their voices for change and advocate for the T1D community. Visit jdrf.org/easttennessee for more information.
