Low Fat Vegan No Oil Greek Loukoumades (greek donuts)

These loukoumades are my version of the ones I used to have as a child in Greece. After I would eat about half a dozen I would always feel kind of sick. (now I know why) These are usually deep fried in some kind of oil so they are extremely greasy and then they are drizzled in honey which we all now is bee vomit. If you live in the USA and go to the Greek festivals you will see these artery clogging puff balls that everyone is eating.
My version uses maple syrup which I think tastes way better than the honey and I do not use the crushed walnuts sprinkled on top due to my son being allergic to walnuts. But if you want, go ahead. You can even eat these just plain. They are delish any way you go.
In the video I doubled the recipe.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 C white flour. (if using whole wheat used the pastry flour and add more water)
1 C sesame seeds RAW
1/2 t baking yeast
1 t sugar
1/2 t salt
1/3 + 1T warm water
Bake 390 degrees for 11-13 min.
