Between 1963 and 1977, Luganskteplovoz built more than 3500 engines of class 2TE10L. Few of them are in use today, most of them in Moldova. In this beautiful country, you can enjoy the unique sound of its two 10D100 engines. During our recent stay in Moldova, we were happy to have 2TE10L-2080 (built in 1972) running the international train from Moskova to Chișinău from the border UA/MD to Ocnița, and two days later on a freight train from Ungheni to Balți.
