Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Playthrough Part 4

In this part, we complete A-4: Visual Tricks, along with returning to the first three levels to catch the Boos there. This stage is where you obtain the Dark-Light Device, which allows you to find illusions, which are created by Spirit Balls. Collecting all of the Spirit Balls from an object will make the illusion disappear. This also applies to catching Boos, as they hide in certain objects and can only be revealed with the Device. Your main objective of this stage is to find out what is causing the illusions, and of course, it's a Boo. This stage has four Gems: Star Amethyst: This Gem can be seen behind the fish tank. How do you reach it? Well, it's quite easy to do. In the Patio, reveal a door to the left using the Dark-Light Device, then enter it. Enter the next door to end up back in the Foyer, behind the tank. You can now get the Gem easily. Octagon Amethyst: In the Patio, reveal the fountain to the left of the others in the water using the Dark-Light Device. After catching the Spirit Balls, you can get the Amethyst it had. Oval Amethyst: After battling the Ghosts in the kitchen, make your way to the door on the left to reach the Library. Reveal a globe with the Dark-Light Device, then launch it to reveal the Amethyst. Spindle Amethyst: In the Study (which is reached via a secret entrance in the Bedroom), shine the Dark-Light Device on the picture after ripping off the curtains covering it. Boo: This stage's Boo has to be caught to complete the stage, so you can't miss it. It's in the Dining Room.
