They go as far as saying that eating even a morsel of meat can devoid a person of all the spiritual enlightenment one might have achieved and thus loses all his virtues. In reality, this kind of belief in some Sikhs is due to the influence of Vaishnav mahants who have had managed to intrude in the Gurdwaras in the past. It is a completely anti-Gurmat viewpoint.
