(from Mad Heads' wikipedia page) Mad Heads were an American rock band that formed in 2008 as part of the original wave of Future Music. Along with punk rock, they experimented with reggae, ska, dub, funk, rap and rockabilly. For most of their career, Mad Heads consisted of Nick Romano (guitar, electronic wizardry), Nick Lindblad (bass) and Eric Clark Smith (Drums, percussion, spirituality) Mad Heads were a major success on the east coast with their single "Banana's Foster". Robert Christgau once described their performance onstage, saying "They thud rather than thunder. But what a loud and joyous thud it is." Mad Heads' musical experimentation and rebellious attitude had a far-reaching influence on rock, alternative rock in particular.
