Magic Flip Cover by ePawn @IFA2014

ePawn, a French startup part of ALCATEL ONETOUCH's incubator, "Le Project", has developed a smartphone cover that integrates their tracking technology in partnership with ALCATEL ONETOUCH. The original accessory, made by ALCATEL ONETOUCH, connects to the HERO2 smartphone through its pins on the back cover. ePawn has transformed this accessory into a gaming accessory that allows users to use NFC action figures. These real objects are then used to interact with virtual environments. The cover and the software are then able to recognize which action figure is being used, enabling several gaming possibilities in the future, and new way of interaction for gamers. The cover was presented on ALCATEL ONETOUCH's booth at the IFA2014 fair in Berlin.
