Maiden Flight of the Skyhopper Ultralight (Nov 28, 2015)

This is a custom-built airframe based on the Weedhopper Model C. Wing was designed by me and uses the NACA 43012 airfoil with 6-ft root and 3-ft tip chords and a 14-ft span. Engine is the out-of-production Rotax 503 SCDI, 2-cyl, 2-stroke, 50 HP engine with a 1:2.58 Rotax B gear reduction box turning a 65" Powerfin Model B prop. This plane has no plans and is not a kit.
