Maiden Launch of our Pontoon Boat

This was the maiden launch of our prototype, mini pontoon boat that Mark and I built out of Styrofoam. It is mainly raw Styrofoam at this point, but we wanted to launch it to see how sturdy it was so that we could do some tweaking if necessary. It did great with 4 full size adults, totaling between 800-900 pounds, but we need to add about 3 inches to the pontoons. We also need a more powerful motor, but we just wanted to see the characteristics of the boat at this point, and it rode like a champ!
