Making Pen Turning Jigs and My First Pen

This week i make my first pen and to get started with it i need to make a Pen drilling jig and a simple Pen press for the Lathe. The drilling jig is not my Design. I made it out of some scrap pine it can hold 3/4"and 1" pen blanks , i attached one hinge on the back side and turned the handle to make it more comfortable to hold. The pen press is made of the same scrap pine that i used for the drill jig , i just turned it on the lathe to get straight sides and on the other one i drilled a hole matching the size of the live center.
