Makita 18v angle grinder rebuild with new brushes & holder - will it work? #1985

Following on from the previous video where we disassemble the grinder to diagnose why it had been loosing power & sometimes even stopping.... Makita supplied the replacement parts next day which was fantastic service so since the parts are now in hand & that I need this grinder for use with the workshop steelwork project we best get it fixed immediately... Previously I haven't really 'serviced' any of my rechargeable power tools, though this failure has certainly highlighted to me the importance, just like with vehicle, to carry out routine maintenance to ensure you get the best life from your tools. Given the wide range of Makita power tools I have now I'll no doubt be doing a few more videos like this one!
