Malaysian UTP Scholarship

Application procedure: ( 30 march and 30 sep last dates for july and jan intake ) If you want to apply in UTP for Masters or for PHD. You must have IELTS 5.0 1. Try to find the supervisor for your MS/PHD by asking your friends there or by direct contact to potential supervisor by contacting them via email https://www.utp.edu.my/Pages/Directories.aspx 2. When someone is ready to become your supervisor, please prepare all necessary documents and apply online. U need to sign up for admission portal when applying online. But for online application you must need to pay fee 50 US dollars which you can ask your friend here in UTP or pay through telegraphic Transfer TT. Once you apply for admission and submitted application processing fee, UTP will reply you and then you have to wait for a long time to confirm your admission.Usually there are meetings regarding the intake of Post Graduate students. 4. it is advised to be in contact with your supervisor and also with registry department regarding your admission status. BtW, it is 5 steps procedure, you can check your admission status on your admission portal. 5. Hopefully you will get confirmation about your admission within 30 to 70 days. Then they will send you GA offer latter either by email or in portal. 6. You need to pay all fee (7200 Malaysian ringgits..3800 ringgits are refundable and remaining is the cost of visa admission etc) all together (preferably) then UTP will confirm you about Visa Approval Letter (VAL). 7. You must check you EMGS status meanwhile because sometimes there is unusual delay in VAL, because of some reasons for example missing documents, in that case you need to contact EMGS as well as UTP admission unit. 8. Once you get VAL , you apply for visa in Pakistan.Normally Visa is issued within 10 days. 9. After getting visa , purchase ticket and also inform UTP about your travel plan. 10. Wellcome to UTP.
