Male to Female Transition.....Being Proactive in Your Journey

You can handle your transition several ways. From my experience, having badly fumbled mine in the early days, coming out and enlisting allies early is far better than being continuously caught out in reactionary storms where people may feel betrayed that you could not confide in them. Sure, it's hard, but it will immediately mark you as a person of character and backbone. More often that not (provided you have a professional diagnosis of gender dysphoria) things will be better than if you had let events take control of you.
