Malindi Women Prison warden asks Kenyans to embrace former inmates

The officer in charge of Malindi Women prison Jospehine Mutuku, has called upon Kenyans to assist the former inmates to re-integrate with the society, adding that former in - mates are finding it hard to reconcile with their families. While speaking during a beauty day at the prison, Officer Josephine Mutuku, said that the reformers usually get back almost immediately after being released and find it hard to cope as they face stigma due to their former jail status. She urged well wishers to assist the facility with implements for women and children. Inmates at Malindi women prisons were on Saturday treated to free hair and beauty services.
