Mallards eating Zebra Mussels

I pulled one of our wooden dock posts out of Otsego Lake, balanced it across my kayak, and brought it to shore. The post had alot of zebra mussels on it, some of which scraped off onto my kayak. After leaving the boat, a Mallard pair came to the kayak and proceeded to eat the mussels. After finishing that treat, they lavished themselves with more treats by feasting on the post!!! They ate every mussel off the post in approx. 5 minutes! This video is of the second post retrieved. "Quackers Love Zebra Mussels!!", and Gerry loves the help! LOL
