Man kidnapped and murdered in Mombasa

A business man who was kidnapped at gunpoint in Old Town, Mombasa two days ago, has been found dead and his body dumped in a roadside thicket, at Mbungoni Village in Bombolulu. The victim identified as Moiz Esmail-jee, appeared to have been strangled as a rope was still around his neck. His hands were also tied behind his back and his mouth covered, with a yellow polythene bag. According to sources close to the deceased, he was kidnapped early Saturday morning on his way to Bohra Mosque. His family revealed that the kidnappers asked for a 2 million shilling ransom but they only managed to send 300,000 shillings. The hunt for the killers is on and police are hopping the money transaction made, will help them nab the perpetrators.
