Down to the bay I go once more in search of the elusive yellow. Things are not like we left them -- two tides have added much sand to our little spot, the iron ball is almost covered up and are the wings on Nautilus -- bummer. Still some really nice targets around -- Guru went the crack of dawn and found a really really nice big 10k cross on a nice 417 chain just lying in one of the slews --------right place -- right time. He also found a silver ring yesterday. Real guru did pretty good also -- some sort of class ring and kewl 36 buff. For me, the cub scout pin was the best of it. Few looters out today. Denny and John both have the new sunspot carbon fiber scoop handles and everyone who has them have had problems with them slipping out of the bracket that holds them in. the carbon fiber is very slippery and hard to get it tight enough to step put. With that said, mr chuck has come up with a really kewl repair ticket. He send them both new handles and has now included new hardware.
