Marathon training: 6 Mile Threshold (5:20, 5:22, 5:15…) + Cup Practice

Marathon training marches on into March and oh so close to April. Live in the moment, live in the moment, live in the moment. I sometimes struggle with living in the moment, but it is becoming very apparent that this marathon training regimen is reminding me every day, and every hour, to live in the moment. This marathon workout today in Washington Park in Denver Colorado was the third threshold workout of this training block, I now have three more threshold workouts to go before racing the Cleveland Marathon in May. The goal was to run 5:20s today, and that is exactly what I did, didn't hurt that I was able to pull out of the hat the Reebok Floatride Run Fast Pros. Exciting day for sure out here on the roads and I look forward to sharing more marathon training tips and ideas with all of you in the coming weeks as we march toward the Cleveland marathon together.
