Mariah Milano's Croque Monsieur! (Mr. Crunchy)

During my first trip to Europe I started in London and traveled by train though France, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy during a 3 week trip. During those 2 and 3 hour train rides between towns I discovered the Croque Monsieur sandwich. That's French for "Mr Crunchy" and boy does it live up to the name! It's a very basic and traditional French meal, basically their version of a grilled cheese or ham and cheese sandwich. But it has that incredible smoky flavor of the Gruyer cheese that just makes it so amazing! Plus in this video you'll learn the most essential sauce base, the bechamel sauce which can be elaborated on to create so many wonderful things!
