Massey University has officially welcomed the new head of their Māori Studies Department, Professor Meihana Durie. The son of Sir Mason Durie was accompanied by many supporters this morning. The event, held at the Manawatū campus, is said to be the biggest event ever held at Te Pūtahi a Toi since it opened 20 years ago.
