Mat training for 2 on 2 off contacts

http://www.pamsdogacademy.com I have never really liked the nose target after the contacts and have always felt that I am not fast enough to have a dog with a running contact, so I figured that I would use a mat as a target. It is still a 2 on 2 off concept, the only difference is that I am having Bandit target a mat with his front paws instead of jamming his nose into the plastic target on the ground. I have been working with the mat as a target for other behaviors, so I used a totally different textured spongy mat for Bandit's contacts.
