Mattress Cover and which is best for you.

Watch and view I discuss the different types of Mattress Covers including Organic Mattress Covers. Today I wanted to talk to you about mattress covers. We produce four or five types of mattress covers. I’m going to go over them with you. So this first one, it’s quite a heavy fabric. It’s called the double knit. It’s about quarter inch thick. It’s kind of got a quilting in it. It comes with a zipper on three sides, so it’s easy to put onto your mattress. This one is machine-washable. It’s really a nice, heavy-weight fabric. This is one of our high-end fabrics that we used. When we make our memory foam mattresses, we uses on it, as well as on the latex mattresses. This is a really beautiful mattress cover. Next, I want to speak with you about our similar fabric to this one. It’s a double knit also. It’s a heavy organic. This particular fabric, we recommend that you pay a surcharge to have it pre-shrunk before we sell it, so that way it becomes machine-washable. This is a very heavy, certified organic cotton fabric. It’s weight is called the 500 gram. You can see it’s kind of thick and plush. I wish you could touch it. It really feels quite wonderful. Then after this one, we also produce just a simple mattress cover. This is our 100% cotton muslin one. Again, this one, if you want to be able to wash it, you should pay our pre-wash fee. It’s a 45-dollar fee. It means we cut the artist, take it home, throw it in the washing machine before we put a zipper on it and saw it to size for you. But if you don’t plan on removing it from your bed, it’s fine to just use it as it is. Next, I’ve got some much nicer and quite heavy mattress covers. So this one here, on this mattress, has these channels in it. These channels are made with wool and here’s the cut out of it. You can see this is certified organic wool inside, certified organic cotton. This is our organic pillow-top mattress cover. It has a zipper, again on three sides, so it’s removable. This is not washable. In fact, the wool will get ruin; it will shrink and bunch up on you if you do try to wash it. So don’t try to wash this one. You can take it apart. This top panel will completely separate. You can take it outside and spot-clean it and leave it in the sun to dry, but don’t put it in your washing machine because it will get ruined. This is a really nice one, quite expensive. Then, lastly, we also produce or stock waterproof mattress covers. This is just an elastic skirt that pulls over your mattress.
