Mature aged flying-fox scratches and grooms: this is Walter

I did promise you all a happy video for today. Enjoy Walter and his squeaky little ablutions... Walter is a senior Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who is aged in his mid 20s, which is a very advanced age for a flying-fox. He doesn't hang all that well anymore so he has a padded shelf to rest on and keep him safe so he can hang without his full weight on his arthritic feet. He is an education animal and is a great ambassador for batty kind. Thanks Mandi for sending me this video footage when I had nothing happy to upload, and for making my heart glad to see how well Walter is looking.
