WrestleMania weekend has become the destination for pro wrestlers affiliated with any promotion to perform and meet fans from across the globe and raise their profile. One of the brightest young stars is 23-year-old Maxwell Jacob Friedman, better known by his initials “MJF.” A throwback to the days where heel (villain) wrestlers never broke characters, MJF has showcased an uncanny ability of antagonizing fans with his arrogant demeanor, constant rule breaking and slick tongue and turned it into a master class in performance art. MJF begrudgingly allowed Sporting News to tag along with him at WrestleMania weekend, where he participated in eight shows, engaged and enraged fans at meet and greets and gave us a daily update on what transpired.
