Take an AMAZING afternoon dive at the world's best inshore city dive site - nearly 500 species of INCREDIBLE aquatic life! Plus Gold Coast MAYOR TOM TATE shares his vast wisdom again, this time letting us know that a cruise ship terminal for the broadwater would exist harmoniously with the marine life and local dive amenity there. Tom also lets us know what's really under the water there as well. Thanks Tom, that's a weight lifted from my mind!

Filmed late afternoon on 29th September 2013 with no scuba gear, no cost, just a mask & snorkel and a totally free place with no damn casinos, fences, brown water, massive cruise ship propellers or affluent elitists to tell you where you can and can not go - just magic! Took two hours to get out because the place is so damn good, it attracts thousands and thousands of people every week - such an important open, free and green public space this is - losing any of it to privatisation and muddy waters would cost this city more than most can imagine, not just environmentally and socially, but economically as well.
In this video you'll see Trevally, Whiting (getting frisky too, it's their mating time right now), Eagle Ray, Green Turtle, Wobbegong Shark, Luderick and about 100 other species of tiny little reatures, flippy silver fishes and background life.
