Bahadur Yar Jung who was born on 3rd February 1905 in Hyderabad and died on 25th June 1944 was a foremost Muslim leader in the princely state of Hyderabad in British India was known as a powerful religious preacher. In 1938, he was elected the President of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen of which he was a founder member, a position in which he served till his death and the cause of his death was suspected as to be poisoned in his 'hukka' (water pipe) when he went to meet his opposition.
