This is a review of the color triage system. This is meant to be a memorable way to remember the different priorities and treatments. The lyrics are written to Billy Joel's 'Uptown Girl'. If you wish to leave comments, please use constructive criticism and be respectful. A lot of hours went into making this film. It is not to make fun of an MCI situation, but to review the color system in a unique way.
*Disclaimer* According to the most recent FEMA's NIMS, the ICS does not include an "EMS Command". The statement in the song only represents that a general command structure needs to be created in order for better organization. We apologize for any confusion.

---MCI Triage Song Lyrics---
We need to start triage before people die
We have to have the upper hand
It is important to create a command
We need a leader to provide direction
And an officer to set up transport
A treatment officer treats minor trauma
And most importantly, the triage crew
That's what we'll do
And when that is set
Start triage time
You have just thirty, seconds, you're behind
Walking wounded go to green
Hopefully, they only, have minor woes
But 'til next triage who really knows
The nearest patient looks in a doze
They are not alert and it truly shows
So red I chose
Oh
Let's move on
Here we have one who is not breathing
So let us manually open their airway
If they start breathing it will make my day
Red and away
But if they didn't
Start breathing, they earn black
There's nothing to do
If a pulse they lack
Breathing under thirty
Good skin signs, cap refill, under two seconds
Has good mental status and alert replies
He wants to get up, but too weak when tries
Extra help is on the way I advise
Yellow prize
Oh
Direct Pressure
Re-positioning the Airway
We may raise the Extremities
And all of this is our expertise
