Meet the Writers: Sharbari Ahmed "Dust Under Her Feet" Reading

A reading and discussion with Sharbari Ahmed to celebrate the publishing of her new novel, Dust Under Her Feet. Sharbari teaches in the MFA Creative Writing Program, is also the author of a short story collection, The Ocean of Mrs. Nagai: Stories (2013, Daily Star Books). She was on the writing team for Season One of the TV Series, "Quantico" on ABC. She adapted the middle grade novel, Rickshaw Girl by Mitali Bose Perkins for the screen, due out in 2020 by Sleeperwave Films. The screen adaptation of her stage play Raisins Not Virgins was part of the Tribeca All Access program at the Tribeca Film Festival and nominated for best original screenplay.
