Meme Faces, Plasma Hits and Holographic UIs

Behind the scenes, bloopers and a rundown of some of the VFX from our meme-inspired short action film Meme Crisis. This was a pretty fun shoot; although we had to deviate a bit from our original script due to lack of time. In any case I think the project turned out pretty damn well. Otherwise when it comes to compositing you may find it difficult to line up your UI with where your actor is pressing in the air. Meme Crisis was shot on a Canon EOS 550D w/ 18-55mm Kit Lens.
