Mertapan is the place in the Munggu Village, Bungkal, Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia. The place is still natural and quite, propper to take a retreat or a deep meditation. That is why the place is named as Mertapan. Here we try to trace the history of the place and we are doing some improvisation about Kidungan Kalijagan and Tanah Air song in seriousa version.
