马来西亚世界宣明会十五周年庆爱心大使 - 王力宏 http://www.worldvision.com.my/ Asia's heartthrob and superstar, Wang Leehom, has signed on as World Vision Malaysia's 15th Anniversary Ambassador. The international star will partner the global humanitarian organization throughout 2012 to heighten awareness of its work among the poor. Wang Leehom is no stranger to World Vision. He sponsors 20 children under World Vision's International Child Sponsorship Programme (10 sponsored children from Laos and 10 from Sierra Leone) and has visited the organisation's community transformation work in Laos, China and Sierra Leone. As World Vision Malaysia's 15th Anniversary Ambassador, Wang Leehom will be striving alongside the organization to deepen understanding of, and commitment towards, World Vision's "We See Change" drive. World Vision's "We See Change" Drive challenges Malaysians to look within themselves and not to others to bring about change in the many unsavory situations around them. It seeks to bring about the realization that change starts when one takes action and not wait for someone else to do so. The year-long initiative is also supported by a host of local and Asian stars including Aniu, Daniel Lee, Fish Leong, Francissca Peter, Lee Sinje, Michael Wong, Nicholas Teo and Yise. Said Wang Leehom in a video-taped message, "I am honored to be part of this important milestone and to have the chance to work together with World Vision Malaysia as their 15th Anniversary Ambassador. "Each of us can make change happen for the better for those who need our help. But, for that to happen, we must first of all, Change Ourselves -- to stop thinking that it is someone else's responsibility or job. If change is to happen, we all have to work together -- you and I."
