MICKEY MOUSE III DREAM BALLON (YUME FUUSEN) - PLAY IT THROUGH

Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through is the famicom only Disney game Mickey Mouse III Yume Fuusen but it was released in North America as Kid Klown in Night Mayor World. In Japan the game is a part of the Mickey Mouse series of games which are actually part of the Crazy Castle series of games if that wasn't confusing enough that series also contains games featuring Bugs Bunny, Roger Rabbit. Garfield, Woody Woodpecker, and even the Ghostbusters depending on what part of the world you are from. Take all that and then add with the creation of the North American version Kid Klown in Night Mayor World it started a brand new franchise the Kid Klown series which would see games on NES, SNES, and Playstation 1. As for this game it is the third in the Micky Mouse series the only one not on the gameboy and the only one that isn't strictly a puzzle style game. You play as part time balloon salesman Mickey who finds out Minnie has been put to sleep and Mickey must wake her by entering her dreams and battling the nightmares. Armed with only balloons to do so it makes this a fun platformer for sure. The game features lots of other disney refrences such as much and characters including Lucifer from Cinderella, one of the Vultures from the Jungle Book and the final boss who is from a personal favorite Disney movie of mine.
